Meet Darwin Martin, a highly skilled musician with over two decades of experience in the industry. With a versatile skill set, Martin has worked in various musical settings across Texas, the United States, and on international stages.

After completing his studies at the University of North Texas, Martin began his career with Disney in Florida. However, it was in 1994 when his career as a session musician took off, recording Hammond B-3 on Sister Hazel's top 10 album "Somewhere More Familiar". This album earned him both a platinum and gold award, and helped him establish his name in the music industry.

In 1998, Martin was fortunate enough to receive mentorship from the late legendary keyboardist Joe Sample, and the legendary bassist Chuck Rainey. Two years ago, Martin reunited with Rainey and drummer/producer John Martinez for their ongoing "Rhythm Intensive" music instruction/lecture series. This demonstrates Martin's commitment to learning and passing on his knowledge to future generations.

Martin has also composed and performed on various projects, including the late E. Street Band keyboardist Danny Federici's sophomore release "Out Of A Dream" in 2004. In 2008, Martin contributed to the soundtrack of Adam Sandler's movie "Bedtime Stories".

As a freelance keyboardist, Martin has backed legendary artists and national acts such as Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Richard Elliot, Ben E. King, Peabo Bryson, Regina Belle, Sheena Easton, and The Goo Goo Dolls. Martin has also worked as an arranger, accompanist, and music director for the Dallas Theatre Center and various civic functions in the DFW area.

In addition to his work as a session musician, Martin leads his own trio and other ensembles. With his wealth of experience, dedication to his craft, and impressive resume, Darwin Martin is a valuable asset to any musical project or performance.
